First step (Ages 3-5)
Chinese dance teaching content will base on Chinese folk dance test grade 1-2. Students will learn Chinese dance repertoires and participate in performances held by bright pearl dance arts academy. Through the class, Students will feel the elegance and beauty of the Chinese culture. This level of class is designed to enhance your child’s motor, listening, and social skills through dance activities with some fun games and themes. Students will be also introduced to basic ballet technique and creative movements.

Junior troupe (Ages 6-8)
Chinese dance teaching content will base on Chinese folk dance test grade 3-4. Students will learn Chinese dance repertoires and participate in performances held by bright pearl dance arts academy. In this level, the instructor will start to use simple terminology to bring up their awareness of ballet. Students will build off of the five feet positions, hand movements, basic jump and turning techniques, among other level-appropriate skills.

Senior troupe (Ages 9-12)
Chinese dance teaching content will base on Chinese folk dance test grade 5-6. Students will learn Chinese dance repertoires and participate in performances held by bright pearl dance arts academy. In this level, more difficult combinations and skills will be taught while developing precision and fitness. Instructors will use more intricate movement and incorporate more technical skills to achieve their body coordination and cultivate their feeling of artistic.


Youth WuShu

Featured in movies like Crouching Tiger and Kung Fu Panda, WuShu combines the intensity of martial arts, the dynamic movements of gymnastics and the artistry of ballet. Basic WuShu (Ages 5-7)
Instructors:

Class Times:  Thursday 4:00-5:00pm, Friday 7:00-8:00pm, Saturday 9:00-10:00 am
FALL 8-Week Session: starts week of Sept 25.
Class Description: Basics Wushu for 5-7 year olds is focused on fun activities to build foundations in fitness and WuShu basics. Short basic combinations will be taught as well as teaching kids the importance of safety in martial arts.
Tuition: $128 per class/8-week session

WuShu Light Sword (8+ years old)
Instructors:
Xiaoyi Chen and Calvin Wang

Class Times:  Monday 5:00-6:00pm, Saturdays 1:00 – 2:00pm, Sundays 11:00 – 12:00pm
FALL 6-Week Session: starts week of October 16.
Class Description: In this light sword class students will learn how to wield the weapon of the Jedi. Students will learns skills in striking, blocking and saber-to-saber technique. Light sword skills will also incorporate other Wushu skills such as kicks, tumbling and various ground techniques. Students will be assisted in selecting/customizing/building their own duel ready light sword.
Tuition: $128 per class/6-week session.

Basic WuShu (Ages 8+)

Class Times:  Thursday 5:00-6:00pm, Friday 5:00-6:00pm, Friday 7:00-8:00pm, Saturday 10:00-11:00 am
Class Description: Basic Wushu will be focused on building skills in Wushu basics, fitness and learning forms. Students will be challenged physically and learn Wushu basics such as punches, kicks, stances, tumbling skills and self-defense.

Basic WuShu Staff (Ages 8+)

Class Times: Thursday 6:00-7:00pm, Friday 6:00-7:00pm, Friday 8:00-9:00pm, Saturday 11:00am-12:00pm
Class Description: This class will be the first step in learning WuShu weapons. The WuShu staff encompasses many of the core basic skills necessary for a solid foundation in preparation for other WuShu weapons. Students will learn various flowering, swinging, striking techniques as well as a basic form. All experiences welcome.

WuShu Sword (Ages 8+)
Instructors:

Class Times: Sundays 10:00-11:00am
Class Description: In the Basic WuShu sword class students will choose between learning WuShu broadsword or WuShu Straightsword. Students will learn various flowering, striking, parrying techniques as well as a basic form. Skills developed in this class will help students in developing future weapon skills. Experience in previous martial arts, basic WuShu and/or Basic WuShu staff recommended.

WuShu Sanda (Ages 8+)

Class Times: Thursdays, 7:00-8:00pm
Class Description: Basic WuShu Sanda class will be focused on the combative aspect of martial arts and includes self-defense and basic sparring skills. This class will involve full body conditioning and the application of self-defense, striking and grappling skills in light sparring sessions.

  • Single class weekly/1 month: $97/month
  • Single class weekly/3 month: $85/month ($255 total)
  • Unlimited classes weekly/1 month: $130/month
  • Unlimited weekly/3 months: $112/month ($336)

*For students who enroll for a single class:

  1. If beginner student, students are offered a free private lesson each month if instructors believe it is required.

**For students who enroll for unlimited classes:

  1. Students have the option to attend any of the Basic, Staff, Sword or Sanda classes each week.
  2. Students are offered 1 FREE private lesson per month. Limited by availability of instructor.
  3. Receive a free pair of Wushu shoes and T-shirt.
  4. Are given a referral opportunity: refer a friend and if they enroll, receive free gifts each time.
