Class Description: Featured in movies like Crouching Tiger and Kung Fu Panda, WuShu combines the intensity of martial arts, the dynamic movements of gymnastics and the artistry of ballet. Join Harvard and Wellesley College coaches, Xiaoyi Chen and Calvin Wang, for a genuine Wushu class.
Adult Kempo Karate Program

Class Description: In the adult class, you’ll learn a traditional system of self-defense. Focuses on time-tested techniques that instill confidence, strength, and an indomitable spirit.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Instructor: Professor Bernadette Robinson
Class Time: Wednesdays 7-8pm
Class Description: This class safely teaches you self defense through positioning for throws along with techniques to control your opponent from the ground. The approach to competition is fun and exciting. Classes are available for all ages and ability levels. Learn from a true master in the art!
Power Kicking Class
Instructor: Master Elbert Kim
Class Time: Tuesdays 7-8pm
Class Description: Based on the Korean martial art Tae Kwon Do, this class focuses on kicking technique and sparring. This class is geared towards those students looking to improve their technique in these areas.
Cost: $60/month for just power kicking class

Kung Fu & Chen Tai Chi
Instructor: Michael Chang
Class Time: Fridays, 10:15-11:15am
Class Description: Chen Tai Chi is a mind-body exercise using silk reeling techniques. These slow dynamic and yet isometric movements… a seemingly incongruous to the western theory of exercise…are combined with a mental purpose and mental spatial awareness of body movement. The balance of Yin-Yang force is emphasized as the basis of these movement as students transition from calmness to bursts of power. Qigong and reverse breathing are also introduced.
